Grant is crazy about fitness.
This is a good and bad thing. I feel better about myself and can perform tasks, even physically tasking ones, much easier than I could before. My body fat has remained under 5% for quite some time now, and I lift well over my own bodyweight.
On the other hand, I no longer allow myself such pleasantries as a cabinet stocked with peanut butter, or any excess fruit. In fact, I can not take so much as a bite of a cookie without feeling disgusted with myself.
My workout routine consists of a four mile bike ride to the gym, a minimum of two hours lifting, and an average of two miles per day. Without this, in my mind, I would surely perish.
To be fair, it is helpful for my ADHD to find an outlet such as exercise. It has surely become a disorder according to those around me. I, on the other hand, think it is a wonderful addition to my life. I feel as though I’m not missing out on much when I skip a party or a cookie, or even an extra strawberry.
